Q

Can You Treat Arthritis?

I am interested in acupuncture therapy for arthritis in my knees. I would like to know what the treatment would consist of.

Thank you.

Thanks for asking.

Arthritis is a common health problem that has been successfully treated at KJ Clinic. Treatment includes acupuncture, acupressure, Chinese herbal therapy, and Qi Gong exercise. A typical treatment course covers six to twelve appointments depending on patient's condition. More information can be found in Clinic Cases.

Q

Hello,

I have been looking into your web site. I am interested in getting acupuncture. I am not suffering from any chronic illness, but I have had some problems with arthritis in my knee, and some lower back pain, but I don’t think its anything too bad. I would like to get a checkup, if there is such a thing, and some advice as to how I can make my health better. How would I go about setting up an appointment? Is there anything I should be reading ahead of time?

I am also curious about whether or not I could use any form of medical insurance.

Thanks for your time.

- N.

Arthritis and Lower back pain are the most common health problems Acupuncture therapy effectively treat, either acute or chronic. The joint’s problem may be a sign of unbalance in your internal organ function. It is good idea to find your health condition through Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) diagnosis, by which multiple ways can be identified for solving a existing problem and/or preventing it getting worsen.

Some insurance policy covers acupuncture therapy for pain management, some doesn't’t. You should consult your insurance company to find out the coverage.

Please call me to make an appointment if decided to give a try. Walk in is ok, but treatment is not guaranteed at the time.

I'm glad that you are considering achieving good health through alternative medicine.

Best regards
